Innovation Made in Italy:
Steelbau, founded in 1990 in Schio in the dynamic territory of Vicenza province, begins its journey as specialist in the transformation of stainless steel for the food industry, becoming the first Italian company manufacturing bowls for mixers without welding, using a unique technology in its field. Over the years the production capacity grows as well as investments and soon Steelbau turns into a global reference partner for food industries.
In 2020, the union with Inox Fondi, based on values as innovation and process control, gives life to a new growth step. 2021 is the year of the opening of the new production site in Isola Vicentina with 6800 sqm production area, 14000 sqm open surface and 1000 sqm office building.
In 2022 the offer is enlarged with the acquisition of a competitor allowing to introduce planetary mixer bowls and other special bowls in our production range, confirming the goal to continue our growth. Industrial applications are expanded including other food sectors, besides the established bread making and leavened products sector and replying to increasing demands coming form cosmetics and chemical-pharmaceutical field.

Diamond embossing
It is made using an automatic CNC machine that makes circular impressions on the steel surface. The resulting decoration adds a visually appealing element to the material, giving a homogeneous appearance, characteristic of Made in Italy that only Steelbau is able to create. This finish also guarantees resistance to scratches and fingerprints compared to mirror surfaces.
Mirror polishing
This process is fundamental to get the maximum level of aesthetic surface finishing and remove any trace of imperfections.
During the entire production cycle, it is essential to maintain a constant technique which is guaranteed by an automated process with the use of equipment and tools that prevent contamination and assure high quality mirror polishing.
Fine grinding
This finish is used to create a homogeneous appearance on the material. It produces a surface between mirror and matte, offering an aesthetic shine. The satin finish creates a refined and elegant appearance while providing scratch resistance compared to mirror surfaces.
